PhD Scholarship for Africa Talent Programme (ATP) at Wageningen University in the Netherlands in 2022.
Wageningen University is now accepting applications for the Africa Talent Programme (ATP) PhD Scholarship in the Netherlands for the academic year 2022/23.
If a candidate does not yet have a master’s degree but expects to obtain one soon, this can be stated in the application. If a postdoctoral position is applied for, candidates must have a recognized doctoral degree or a PhD award date in the near future. The applicant must be fluent in both spoken and written scientific English in both cases.
The Award’s Value
This program provides top African talent with the opportunity to pursue a PhD or a postdoctoral position.
Eligibility
Eligible candidates are
- Master/PhD graduates with African nationality.
- Female candidates (they are especially encouraged to apply).
It is very important to note that
- Only a professor (persons who have the ius promovendi) at Wageningen University can submit an application to the Africa Talent Programme. Therefore, you will have to find a Wageningen professor who will endorse your application. A professor of Wageningen University may only submit one application.
