Form One Selection for Academic Year 2025.
The Ministry of the President’s Office, Regional Administration, and Local Government has officially released the list of candidates who have been selected to join the secondary school education for Form 1 class in the academic year 2025.
This list comes from among the standard seven candidates who sat for the primary school leaving examination (PSLE) in the midst of October 2025.
Speaking to the mass media on Monday, December 16, 2024, the Minister responsible said, “there is a total of 974,332 of students who have been allocated with the school to commence form one studies in secondary schools all across Tanzania mainland by January 2025.”
How to check the selection?
Any parent can check the selection results on the official website of the Ministry of the President’s Office, Regional Administration, and Local Government (TAMISEMI) via the links provided below.
- Link 1: On this link you will find the primary school where the candidate studied and see where she/he has been selected to go. Simply click on the region where the primary school is located, then the district (council), and lastly the school, where you will find the list of all candidates from that school and where they are allocated. Example: Kigoma >>> Uvinza >>> Nyanganga >>> List of names. Open here to see.
- Link 2: On this link you will find the list of all secondary schools in Tanzania, where as when you click on the school you will see the list of standard seven candidates selected to join this particular school. Example: Lugalo Girls >>> List of students selected to join this school. Open here to see.

All joining instructions are attached to link number 2, as shown above. To get the joining instruction from your preferred school, follow the steps below.
- Click on the secondary school where the candidate was selected to go.
